Cetrom’s SOC 2 Type ll with HIPAA Certification release published in CPA Practice Advisor on Monday, April 1st, 2019.
Cetrom, a provider of custom cloud hosting solutions for accounting firms, has completed the intensive Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type ll with HIPAA/HITECH audit. This compliance certifies, according to the standards defined by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA), that Cetrom’s information security practices, policies and procedures meet the SOC 2 Type II standard principles for security, availability and confidentiality across it’s geographically disparate data centers.
With the growing cybersecurity threats and increasingly stringent compliance standards, it has become customary for firms of all sizes to require strict assurance certifications when working with outsourced experts. CPA firms do not have the time or expertise to analyze, maintain and evolve their own IT systems; including their infrastructure, data, applications, and more – which is why many CPA firms are turning to more trusted Cloud solution providers, like Cetrom.
