AWE’s Seal of Approval awards program honors companies in the Washington, D.C., area for creating an exceptional work environment for their employees. Cetrom will be recognized among the 60 other winners during AWE’s Annual Awards Luncheon on May 21, 2015, at the North Bethesda Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Cetrom garnered AWE’s Seal of Approval Award as a result of its leadership’s commitment to provide a collegial working environment that ensures staff members are happy, productive and successful.
AWE’s criteria for selecting honorees examined factors such as corporate culture, management practices and flexibility of working environment. Cetrom’s newly expanded Maryland office, which allows the company to bring its local and remote employees together for training sessions and company-wide meetings, was taken into consideration. The award also acknowledges Cetrom’s flexible telecommuting option; a three-day, off-site corporate weekend retreat; “daily huddles” via phone conference; and support of children- and veteran-focused charities.
